Community Guidelines

Welcome to The Aisle.
Our mission is to connect couples with talented wedding professionals in a respectful, trustworthy, and professional environment. These Community Guidelines explain the standards we expect all users to follow. By using The Aisle, you agree to help create a safe and positive experience for everyone.
Violations of these Guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination as described in our Terms of Service.
1. Be Respectful
Treat all users with courtesy and professionalism.
You may not:
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully others.
- Use abusive, hateful, or discriminatory language.
- Make personal attacks.
- Encourage violence or illegal activity.
- Engage in stalking or repeated unwanted contact.
Healthy disagreements are acceptable. Personal attacks are not.
2. Be Honest
Trust is essential to The Aisle.
Users must provide truthful and accurate information at all times.
Do not:
- Create fake accounts.
- Pretend to be another person or business.
- Misrepresent your experience or qualifications.
- Falsify reviews.
- Mislead users regarding pricing or availability.
- Submit fake wedding listings.
- Misrepresent your business location.
3. Authentic Portfolios
Professionals may only upload work they own or have permission to display.
Portfolio content must accurately represent your work.
You may not:
- Upload another photographer's images.
- Upload work you did not create.
- Remove watermarks from another creator's work.
- Use copyrighted material without permission.
- Claim another person's wedding as your own.
Professionals are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary permissions to display client work.
4. AI-Generated Content
The Aisle supports responsible use of AI as a creative tool, but transparency is essential.
Professionals may not present AI-generated images, staged composites, or synthetic wedding scenes as authentic examples of real client work if doing so would reasonably mislead couples.
AI may be used for tasks such as:
- Editing assistance.
- Background cleanup.
- Color correction.
- Workflow automation.
- Administrative tasks.
- Marketing copy.
If AI-generated imagery is included in a portfolio, it should be clearly identified so users understand what it represents.
Misrepresenting AI-generated content as real wedding work may result in removal of content or suspension of your account.
5. Wedding Listings
Couples should create listings that accurately describe their wedding and service needs.
Do not:
- Post fake weddings.
- Create duplicate listings to gain more attention.
- Use listings to advertise products or services.
- Include misleading information.
- Use listings for surveys or data collection.
6. Messaging
Messaging exists to help couples and professionals communicate about wedding services.
Do not use messaging to:
- Spam users.
- Send unsolicited advertising unrelated to a wedding inquiry.
- Harass or threaten another user.
- Send fraudulent links or attachments.
- Share malicious software.
- Request sensitive personal or financial information unrelated to legitimate business needs.
Users are encouraged to report inappropriate messages through the Platform.
7. Reviews
Reviews should reflect genuine first-hand experiences.
Reviews may not:
- Be fabricated.
- Be exchanged for money, gifts, or discounts.
- Be submitted from fake accounts.
- Include knowingly false statements.
- Contain profanity, threats, or discriminatory language.
- Be used to pressure another user during a dispute.
The Aisle may remove reviews that violate these Guidelines or applicable law.
8. Respect Intellectual Property
Only upload content you own or have permission to use.
Respect:
- Copyrights.
- Trademarks.
- Client privacy.
- Licensing agreements.
- Creative ownership.
Repeated intellectual property violations may result in permanent account removal.
9. Keep the Platform Secure
Users may not:
- Attempt to hack the Platform.
- Reverse engineer the software.
- Upload viruses or malicious code.
- Circumvent security measures.
- Create bots.
- Scrape data from the Platform.
- Interfere with another user's account.
10. Fraud Prevention
The following activities are prohibited:
- Identity theft.
- Payment fraud.
- Chargeback abuse.
- Fake businesses.
- Fake proposals.
- Fake bookings.
- Stolen portfolios.
- Fake reviews.
- Subscription abuse.
- Account sharing.
- Impersonation.
The Aisle actively investigates suspected fraudulent activity and may cooperate with law enforcement when appropriate.
11. Protect Your Privacy
For your safety, do not publicly post:
- Social Security numbers.
- Driver's license numbers.
- Financial account information.
- Passwords.
- Private login credentials.
- Sensitive personal information not required to use the Platform.
Users are responsible for the information they choose to share with others.
12. Reporting Violations
If you believe another user has violated these Guidelines, you may report the issue through the Platform or by contacting:
support@booktheaisle.com
Reports should include sufficient information to allow us to investigate.
Submitting knowingly false reports may itself violate these Guidelines.
13. Enforcement
The Aisle reserves the right to investigate violations of these Community Guidelines and take appropriate action, including:
- Removing content.
- Removing reviews.
- Issuing warnings.
- Restricting Platform features.
- Suspending accounts.
- Permanently terminating accounts.
- Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement when appropriate.
The Aisle may take action even if conduct is not specifically listed in these Guidelines when it reasonably determines that the conduct threatens the safety, integrity, or operation of the Platform or its users.
14. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
